Never said it reduced share count or price directly. IT will reduce the $$ amount of any BO by MDT by 30% which will reduce the ultimate value of the shares everyone holds respectively.
Would you pay $40 mil for 30% of IP of TMDI because you (MDT) were holding all the cards or Titan would go bankrupt and then offer the full 100% value (market value another co would pay) at a BO?
No. Any offer from MDT will subtract out the value of the 30% of the IP out of the total market value of co and it won’t be $40 mil.
And yes, I believe most on this board have pie in the eye BO prices of $5-$6 B for a robot that will only provide 30% or less of any capital or disposable revenue a company would bring in between a MP vs SP robot. FACT - The usage percentages of SP currently are less than 5% of ISRG revenue. That will grow some but never be more than 20%.
