Nader Pourhassan. On September 10, 2012, the Board appointed Dr. Pourhassan to serve as the Company’s interim President and CEO. On September 24, 2012, the Board appointed Dr. Pourhassan as a director. Dr. Pourhassan was employed by the Company as its Chief Operating Officer from May 2008 until June 30, 2011, at which time Dr. Pourhassan accepted a position as the Company’s Managing Director of Business Development. Before joining the Company, Dr. Pourhassan was an instructor of college-level engineering at The Center for Advanced Learning, a charter school in Gresham, Oregon, from June 2005 through December 2007. Dr. Pourhassan immigrated to the United States in 1977 and became a U.S. citizen in 1991. He received his B.S. degree from Utah State University in 1985, his M.S. degree from Brigham Young University in 1990 and his Ph.D. from the University of Utah in 1998. Dr. Pourhassan brings to the Board his deep knowledge of the Company’s operations and industry.
