Mid August for results from a 120 patient phase 2 trial and the world is already flashing their boobs at mardi gras and moving on from covid. I'm not saying covid will vanish, but the excitement around a drug like this will be so far behind us, especially because it will have to do a phase 3 massive trial at that point. So, let's do calendar:
mid-august: topline restults.
provided topline results are good to exceptional, then:
phase 3 trial, say 500 patients: 1 year.
grant funding: 3-6 months to secure funding. 6 months to start trial.
we're talking 2023 until phase 3 results are shown.
