Baldrick yes I'm concerned that the mantra on this and other boards from long time apple investors is that this is going to be great.
The contrarian view would be to sell before earnings, and or that some metric of earnings-margin, guidance, ipod volume , mac sales- will be an excuse to create bad news and thus drive the stock down. Pretty much what happened with intc. We of course don't control the news, if the hedges (a la the cramer tape of a few weeks ago) decided to sell after earnings in the after hours they could probably set the tone down.
On the other hand the current price of 96 a share is really only $10 higher than the high of last year, a y/y gain of only 12%.
