The FDA has been a determinant of good news. We need partnerships and/or government funding to advance B rapidly to stay at least on par with the competition. That said there is probably room for more than one therapeutic. If we had funding now, we would be developing and testing an inhaler version or at least have it ready to go if trial results are good. We should be anticipating that results will be good.
The list is “comprehensive” (their word) so I wonder if Innovation has been there all along. Do we know IPIX was just added? I looked through a year of additions from Feb. 2021 back to Jan. 2020 and didn’t see them added so it was either just done in March or they’ve been on the list for some time.
