It wouldn't really be a dump. They would be buying to cover and returning shares to MM/brokers. They would also be buying to clear up FTDs on past due contracts. Both of which could cause a price spike.
The question is when would it occur. Likely they would wait for all shares to be issued to drive price down, clean up FTDs first. Then continue on with short game with more ammo to work with.
