People search for gold many different ways. I have been an avid fan of the show Gold Rush, and not once in over ten years have I seen anyone use a metal detector. The same goes for charts, ie technical analysis. Some people believe in them exclusively. Others only believe in fundamental analysis, ie facts that directly relate to the company, such as earnings, outstanding shares, market cap, volume, and much more. I believe that is the best way. Charting is more like astrology. IMO. If you draw enough charts, coincidentally, you can find one that confirms your beliefs.
