It appears that Leronlimab is the best overall treatment for the immunological over-reaction, bar none. As this virus mutates faster than vaccines (which are always many months behind) can be produced to address them, we're playing a losing game. Anti-virals will help but won't save the day.

Please realize >> The anti-viral drugs don't protect YOU from contracting the virus, they only bolster your response to the virus. You can still get the virus and pass it to others.

Based on the Dr. Patterson/Dr. Been's discussion (December 2020), it's questionable whether all "elements of the virus" are truly deactivated/destroyed even though the viral load seems to be undetectable (around day 28). Patterson was identifying the possible causation of continuing long hauler's syndrome as viral remnants still capable of initiating inflammatory, immunological reactions triggering the diverse outcomes Long haulers experience. (see CD14 and CD16)

Hopefully, we'll find that leronlimab can bring relief to many of these people. It may be the only salvation we have going forward. Because the vaccines don't protect you from getting the virus - once you've contracted it, you have a chance of ultimately joining the "Long Haulers" and needing leronlimab.

IMPORTANT >> leronlimab is the work of one dedicated man! Without him, it would be just be an undeveloped drug gathering dust somewhere. That man, new to the biotech world, didn't/wouldn't give up and is still doing his best to bring this home. Sure there's been a lot of trial and error and a lot of "on the job learning," but I don't see "changing horses" as a great idea. If there are changes to be made, I think it would be lightening the load by delegating some key functions. And he has already started - Mahboob is a good example. He should consider delegating more functions as well. He no longer is forced to be a one-man-band. He has plenty to do without trying to do it all himself.

And a HUGE factor (to me) is >> This man really cares about people and making things better for everyone.

Go Nader! Go Leronlimab!
