I don't think so. Christian Derosier is a member of the Order of Geologists of Quebec and the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. He is signing off on this as himself with his own credentials, not as an Ameca employee.
For what it's worth, he has a gmail address and not a schatziexplortion email listed on the team page.
He has his own company, click the link at his profile.
AMECA would still have to hire an individual. As christian Derosier did work for Saint Jean Carbon in the past back in 2015 I can quote this
"The Company’s [Saint Jean Carbon] geologist, Dr. Christian Derosier, P. Geo., is an Independent Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101, and has approved the scientific and technical information in this news release."
Someone in a Twitter group I’m in looked in to it and found that literally anyone can do the NI. If it turns out to be fabricated or inaccurate, penalties incur and your reputation is thrown to the wolves. It isn’t a conflict of interest, but it would hurt them later on if they were trying to take a ‘short cut’ by having him do it.
An NI 43-101 must be done by a licensed geologist in good standing and certified by the powers that be with no financial or ownership ties to the property owner or the company in question.
