The simple answer to your question as to why the US is way ahead of everyone else in the world with regards to deaths is that Agent Orange refused to accept that the virus was real. By the time he figured it out he didn't know what to do about it.
Here is a fact I heard on the idiot box today. 98 million vaccinated as of yesterday. That is after only 59 days so today we get Biden's 100,000 vaccinated by 100 days in only 60 days.
Just trying to answer your question not attack.
Our day will come.

OK, I went into the kitchen and found my Reynolds Aluminum hat so here goes.
First, NY City is one of the heaviest traveled places due to the investment money and business connections found there.
In 2019 there were 0.8 million people from China that came into the UK.
In 2019 there were 2.8 Million people from China that came into the United states and a lot of them came through NYC.
In 2019 there were 4.8 Million people from Europe that came into the United States and a lot of them came through NYC.
Most of the cases in NYC came from Europe.
Federal response was slow as the virus was said NOT to be person to person contagious as stated by the WHO ( Jan. 14 tweet came less than two months before WHO declared COVID-19 to be a global pandemic) and by Dr. Fauci in February 2020; Fauci who had a large hand in having the COVID virus studied and developed at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China when it was banned from investigation in the USA for exactly what did eventually happened in China.

Remember the Reid Rule...if you lie and win it's OK. People in government will always do what is best for them, light a trash can on fire point and scream...LOOK, LOOK as they hide the broken light of responsibility. I would go into this futher, there are hours to share, but think about this...the must do 6 feet seperation rule. Dr. Fauci being the face of the Biden administration just stated that 3 feet is now good enough. What...why?? Simple, the Biden administration is cramming children into trucks and busses with 3 feet of less between them and then putting them on cots that are three feet apart. Suddenly 3 feet is good. AS far as the FDA is concerned, well they are overworked and are connected one way or the other with the Large Pharma that they KNOW have produced working cures so the downside of a wrong decision going with them is there but is small. Small Pharma Sorrento that has nothing proven except a better Lidocaine patch on the Other hand...

Andeker..... in the words of

our vaunted "leader" Joe Biden....BINGO!! (as to AH tests)

You nailed it and your post does not qualify as tin foil hat as you suggested. Why won't Ji leak some info about the UPS pilots? Gotta have something to keep the shareholders warm....

Since I know many doctors and nurses on the east and west coast many deaths were listed as covid if they tested for covid although they were close to death/dying of something else in the days before COD penned by a doctor. Some for expediency and some, there was more money coming from the government, $50K for Covid patients January to June 2020, and god knows the overworked hospital could use it. It is like the old automotive "change your oil" add...pay me now or pay me later in that although they died of "covid" they would have died a week, month or 6 months later due to their underling condition, ie. COPD , heart or liver disease. The CDC reported that in:
2020--2,927,601 people died
2018--2,606,928,
2019--2,614,950. The number of deaths in 2020 is about 310,000 greater than either of the past two years.
Many of those were accelerated deaths, although not all, due to the extra stress placed on a fragile body by Covid. The number to look at is the number of deaths in 2021, 2022 and correlate the data to 2020. That may not work out as covid deaths are still pileing up.
