Wow.....ha.....LoL

The Bank of Japan signaled that it’s losing faith in its decades-long efforts to stave off deflation with asset purchases. The central bank abandoned its pledge to buy 60 trillion yen worth of equities this year, saying it would adopt other policies to ensure that bank profitability isn’t hurt too much by its negative interest rate policy.

60,000,000,000,000 yen = $ 551,419,800,000 dollars.....So, 1/2 a trillion dollars

Trying to wrap my head around that (I'm a horrible economist)....

What might be the ramifications of that ?.....Or, should I just go by the chart ?

It'd be nice to have a solid understanding of both !

Like what, they're gonna let deflation start running its' course again ?

They're gonna be printing less $$$ ?

What're the other policies it has to ensure that bank profitability isn’t hurt too much by its negative interest rate policy.

Tryin' to wrap my head 'round all that....I'm not a economist.
