#36177 RE: lightrock #36171

Why did I develop and share this calculator?

Lightrock, you are welcome. And please share it.

Why? Why did I do this and choose to share it? It was a lot of work. All told, over 100 hours from understanding the concepts to the current version. Part of that time was understanding FOSCO’s prior art. And much effort was made to improver the user interface. As you know from being a pro modeler, it’s one thing to make a model that works; it’s another project to make a model that someone else can easily use, understand and have confidence in.

Cel-sci has the potential to fundamentally transform cancer treatment. I want this to happen. Like Biobonic’s trial patient, this gives me purpose and meaning. And, like Geert, I don’t like the short interest piling up. The perception of this stock is critical to support a strong valuation that the company may need if another secondary offering or PIPE to required to raise more capital to continue its noble purpose, like the December $14m raise to build a plant to make a not-yet-approved drug. Unlike Geert, I don’t believe that the shorts are evil and trying to ruin the progress of mankind. Like the locust, a short seller has no evil intent. They just eat. If there is food, if the wind blows the right direction, then locusts can destroy nations. The presence of short sellers increases volume which increases liquidity which fundamentally increases the valuation of a publicly traded security. If they cover then the price rises. They are like the pool in back of a dam. I hope the shorts use the calculator to make money too, or at least lose less.

The problem with Cel-sci valuation is simply our collective inability to understand uncertainty. The company’s valuation has increased 20x from its low because our promoter/attorney/leader/evangelist was able to keep raising capital and the the study couldn’t reach its endpoint on time.

But what does that really mean today? Where are we? Betting on P3 is hard enough, but mix in the InVentif lawsuit and a two-year enrollment pause. A shutdown for safety concerns. A restart without adding additional enrollment... and it’s almost impossible to apply metrics and assumptions that seasoned investors typically use to value this kind of security. I hope that everyone—including the shorts —will use this calculator. I hope they will reposition ASAP. I hope this will increase the share price now before the news. I hope that the higher price today will cause the price to go much higher and sustain higher levels when we receive the glorious news. And, because of this, more capital will flow to the company than would have occurred without the calculator being in the public domain. And we will increase the quality of human life.

My phone number is in the calculator. Customer support is free.

And to quote Forrest Gump, “...that’s all I have to say about that.”

Cheers from Beaver country,

Jim.
