didn't fit modern criteria for the definition of "planet." These definitions were revisited with more stringent and descriptive qualifications due to an abundance of recent discovery of "planet-like" structures...this is due to new technology that permitted them to gaze deeper into space with a previously unknown level of clarity. This new clarity forced them to redefine "planet."

Because it’s practically the size of our moon and shouldn’t have ever been considered a planet in the first place, just my opinion.
