I read that ibuprofen can damage your kidneys.

Especially if tossed down like jelly beans...

Dehydration is not good for your kidneys either, and I do not know if they took this into account in their study.



At one time I was prescribed elevated amounts of ibuprofen to allow me to work through a tendon injury. The two week course had me feeling like I had shed 10 years. It led me to try the same thing w/ half again the tablets on motorcycle race weekends to allow wadding myself up on a tiny race bike . Nosebleeds in 105+ temps put a stop to that. My 100 lb wife had migraines and tried to use prescription strength ibu and Tylenol amounts on 24/7 for Parkinson's pain. Like the marathon runners, "Some is good, more is better, too much is just about right", has its limits. Hence both of us are on EPA as a safer long term alternative.
