The Energy component started as a Kiewit subsidiary, CalEnergy, and I made a ton of $$$$ there before Warren's good friend and BRK Board member, Walter Scott, sold it to BRK, keeping a chunk of the stock (9%) for himself and Greg Abel.
How fitting, with BRK trading near all time highs, that the cover on this year's Annual Reports is GOLD! I got a number of them in yesterday with the proxy statement as we have BRK in multiple accounts. I always have enough for 1 at the office and one on all 3 floors at home.
