Looks like VW tanked for 5 days (manipulation?) before the squeeze rocket hit.
That's kind of what I was thinking. Weak hands will sell, HFs will manipulate AMC down further so they can start to cover as cheap as possible, but when their buying begins, they've got a lot of buying to do.
