You could put ANY OTC stock chart up against the Microsoft chart and they look the same, with a jump around the same time.

Was Gamestop also related to Microsoft???

MIcrosoft released their earnings after close on January 26. The Zerohedge article was posted at approximately 12:40 pm on January 27. The image below shows the minute-by-minute trading on January 27. Note the verticle line is placed at 12:43, the closest I could get to 12:40 because there was no trading between 12:37 and 12:43.

I think I will stick with my theory of which catalyst had more influence on bringing attention to SRMX.
