Stories like yours and many, many others would be used by a good attorney. Admissible in court? Probably not. Admissible to the public and media? Most definitely.
There is no pressure on the Government or the courts. Without that, it's no surprise this has gone on as long as it has, and may go on for more years.
My opinion is worthless but I still have one. I had a considerable amount of shares in USO at $25 and sold then for F&F on what I thought was the bottom. I was wrong. F&F continued downward and yesterday USO was almost $45.
On another note, this fight has nothing to do with the government. It’s the Banking lobbyist and others that control parts of the government. These folks are not public servants. Case in point Senator Cooker. The list is endless, including both Leaders of the House and Senate, Republicans and Democrats.
I agree. I traded around my core holding and did very well making money with FnF. Prefs too. I bought Prefs at 5 and sold just over 10. I’m all com’s, Prefs were just a quick swing trade.
I agree with you about how heart wrenching this process has been. The SCOTUS ruling will mean a lot more to me than just the chance to get my money back on the FNMAT I bought in 2008 before the Conservatorship. The crooks in Washington seem to be an endless parade from both sides of the aisle.
