I just learnt from a frenn who was both a law school classmate (she and I were close because we covered for each other in two first year classes that were in CONveniently scheduled such that one of them CONflicted with her yobb and the oher CONflicted with mine, so we each covered for the other) - that inmates cannot receive or even sign up for Social Security while in prison. I did knott know that and thought Coyote could gett commissary fundz when he turns 62 in DaHole.
He can't!!! Social Security (all forms SSDI, SSI, etc.) does nott pay incarcerated criminoles whilst in DaHole.
She (my frenn) is top dog (warden) at a BOP prison (Low and Camp) and is set to retire soon. It's funny because she says inmates CAN sign up for Medicare, butt of course it does them no good because the prison is responsible for their medical care. It does the prison good because when an inmate with Medicscare is hospitalized, Medicare pays most of the bill and the BOP only pays whatever is not covered. Butt the treatment of the inmate is the same - he gets no benefit from being on Medicare. And if he is on SS when he goes into prison, it stops immediately and will nott restart until he is released. If he becomes eligible (agewise) to enroll in Social Security, SS won't process his application until he is released.
So unless LarcenousLisa hitts the lotto and is feeling charitable, Coyote is gonna have very bleak commissary daze ahead for him.
Which is as it ought to be.
And then he either will hitt the pine box or a FMC to wither to DaBoxx.
