So here is the conundrum in a nutshell that may be facing certain investors - do you stay long the stock, hold your nose and live through what you may perceive is a lack of sufficient leadership expertise and judgement within the Company because you are so bullish on the commercial opportunity in front of the Company, or do you believe the risks are too high given the market cap, shareholder base dynamic and your view on appropriate enterprise value given all the factors, sell your shares and go away (or go short)?
I will remain on the long side of the ledger, but I am very unimpressed by what I've seen since the 2021 Business Update and subsequent equity issuance. I also do not expect PLUG's BOD will insert themselves anytime soon to address what they may view as areas of improvement. That's just the way these things tend to work.
Separately, I bought GIK in bulk early this morning...this is a testament to my beliefs in the overall sector and the opportunities in front of it going forward. I also believe the NASDAQ is in the late innings of mining this massive selling of 2020 high beta winners.
