The other thing is people with a lot of money might be unloading a few million on the cheap so it lowers the ask. Then they could come in and buy more on the cheap. If I had 50mil shares I could unload 1 mil at 0.0003. Take a slight hit but allows you to come back and buy another 50 mil at 0.0003 instead of 0.0004. That saves you $5k and makes up for the relatively small sell at 0.0003.
