the more option people buy from the hedgefund the less likely AMC will see a squeeze and the more money hedge fund get to keep shorting. people just need to go buy the share straight from the market instead of option. option trading are for puzzy since they are just helping the hedge fund. No wonder there is no squeeze yet even at the hype of an $8.01 close last week.

A stock is an ownership share in a company. When you buy one or more stock shares, you purchase part of the company that issued the stock.

Stock options are different. When you invest in stock options, you essentially purchase the right to buy or sell shares of an underlying stock for a set price at a future date. There’s no direct ownership of the company at all. You also don’t have an opportunity to earn dividends with options trading. But you do have the potential to reap capital gains from your investment.

~ considering AMC is a dividend stock anyone who is trading stock instead of option will reap the reward of dividend. More money for your pocket to reinvest again in AMC. The gorillas out there are the stock trader and all the option traders are just chimpanzee.
