Regarding public/private partnerships.

Copied from posting by CTO123:
"Tipping Point
Through the “Tipping Point” solicitation, NASA seeks industry-developed space technologies that can foster the development of commercial space capabilities and benefit future NASA missions. A technology is considered at a tipping point if an investment in a demonstration will significantly mature the technology, increase the likelihood of infusion into a commercial space application, and bring the technology to market for both government and commercial applications. The public-private partnerships established through Tipping Point selections combines NASA resources with an industry contribution of at least 25% of the program costs, shepherding the development of critical space technologies while also saving the agency, and American taxpayers, money."

Thanks CTO123 for posting all you did. The above section is just an excerpt from your posting. I had posted before that I believe in the future of Ascent Solar because of the technology they use. I had mentioned that I saw Ascent as ready to go from "lab to fab". The posting by CTO123 further supports that thinking. Some have questioned how inclusion on a few satellites and space probes will add up to any significant dollar volume. The answer is, at this point, not much.

The partnership with NASA indicates the quality and reliability of the Ascent products. For any commercial company looking at High Altitude Pseudo Satellites (HAPS) (I've also seen them referred to as High Altitude Platform Systems.) CubeSats, Space Based Solar (SBS) or any other commercial use, the research done by NASA and Ascent Solar is a solid proof of concept. As I understand it, the current announcement isn't an experiment on whether or not Ascent's solar arrays work in space. That research has been completed. The positive results of that work now put NASA and Ascent in a position to experiment with incorporating an antenna into a folding solar array. This company isn't going to go ballistic with solar backpacks or phone chargers. Other less expensive products could compete in that market. When our communication systems move beyond 5G to 6, 7, 8 ----> 15G a global network of HAPS sending and receiving signals from high altitude and low earth orbit will require a technology that has been proven over time. Ascent will be right there with proven capabilities.

I have 2 million shares of ASTI. I likely won't sell a single share for the next 2-3 years. This stock will be wealth generating for me. This isn't a get rich quick stock. This is a get generational wealth stock in the long run. .... Now.. regarding agricultural uses.....
