Not going to want to mine with a gaming gfx card either, Nvidia cracking down hash rates via software because they are releasing specific mining cards, terrible hashrates for now. Would be better off trying your luck at purchasing a used ASIC.
Unless you want to game with it, then by all means try to buy it from them, if they offer a deal I would consider going halfsies with you.
