I agree with one thing you said and totally disagree with another.
True the SEC will only go after the deep pockets of large corporations for the Fines they can impose and put in the governments coffers. What about the investors money going to the government. I guess that's fair, right.

The part about filing complaints is just nonsense. I filed many complaints and they were ignored and never responded to. Forget that comment because it means nothing. Finally if the SEC put some pumpers and fraudsters in jail and posed large fines on them, the word would get around pretty quickly. They don't have to investigate every case to be successful, just slam some of these people so hard they put the fear of God into the rest of them.
My last point is about shorting and that would just by itself eliminate about 80% of the fraud, stop hurting good companies and just let them grow normally and the investors and the company will both be prosperous.
If this government can afford to give hundreds of billions to foreign countries every year, then they can fund the SEC. That also is nonsense.
Where were you when they had the undercover SEC investigation and found many of them watching porn on their computers instead of doing their jobs. Have you ever heard of graph money It is possible some of these people or management is being paid to look the other way.

Also, if the SEC has limited resources, they should focus on the big companies that are corrupted to the core. I am sure there are one out there.

Why wastes limited resources on small companies? This is so fcuking petty from the SEC.
