Hound, hope things are well. That article talks about the US only. All I know is worldwide cases have decreased about 40% since the all-time high. Obviously every country is different. UK and other European countries have started vaccinations. Asian countries like China, Korea and Japan have not, but cases are very low there since almost everyone wear a mask. Most African countries have not since they are poor, but cases there are not as bad as the US. For example, South Africa had 998 new cases and Nigeria had 571 new cases yesterday. We all know a small percentage of people infected develop moderate to severe symptoms, and that's the market B is going after.
