Last I heard it was not a majority in the Senate. But a 50/50 split.

As a refresher the 3 branches of government are:

Executive (President)
Legislative (house and senate)
Judicial (courts)

So the dems have the executive, and legislative (by way of a tiebreaker in the senate), judicial is controlled by republicans.

Fortunately for APHA only the legislatures matter at this point.
