Yes. You are 100% correct. I tried several times to be best bid. Within ONE SECOND there was a covering bid of exactly 0.1c higher.

Someone is intent enough about getting shares that they have a computer program set to frustrate bid sitting.

I don't think TDA offers me that service. Nor FIdelity. Is this something Robinhood offers? Or who the heck is this who can place automated orders like this?

This is an interesting situation. I don't believe we have seen anything yet. More than half of the selling today was one person. The float is tight and someone serious wants shares.
