I don't have any materials and I don't know how to build a house.
I went to a bank and signed a contract to borrow money.
Then I went to a builder and signed a contract to build a house for me.
I now live in that house.
I have to pay a monthly mortgage to the bank.
The CEO did not have to borrow any money. So he owes NOTHING.
