Asked & Answered and Then Some About The Fire!

NamesJeb

I'm getting tired of hearing the same repeated negative garbage over and over so I'm going to provide some.... OTHER POSSIBLE VIEWS.

1. Why on earth would they not start new trials as they previously stated they would for 2021. Do you suggest everyone working at Algernon should just sit back doing nothing while awaiting results that are being INDEPENDENTLY REVIEWED? You later state money is being wasted by this organization yet you want them to sit around doing nothing getting paid? Contradiction.

2. Why would management not pay themselves well? Maybe you don't think they're worth their salaries, but do you know if they work 20 hours a week or 80? I venture a guess neither you nor I have any idea how hard they're working. Maybe to keep a good team on board a good salary is required?

3. Enrollment is enrollment, if there's not enough patients for your trial it is slowed down.... nothing can be done about this unless they find more hospitals that may have more patients. I hope you're only talking about delays that are Algernon's own fault here? Surely you aren't pissed off at the 5 people who died in a hospital fire slowing the growth of your bank account? Takes a special kind of....

4. I personally work for companies and do self employed work as well. Does that mean I provide garbage work for the companies?

5. Why on earth would they not provide interim data using all the patient data available. Sure the plan was only 75 patients, but if you have data for more, why not include them to provide a stronger signal? In what world does the fact that the primary endpoints weren't as strong yet some secondary endpoints showed great potential mean the science failed? Have you seen what's available on the market currently? Jokes. Literal jokes are the current treatment. If Ifenprodil saves even 10% of the people who were going to die it would be incredible and used worldwide.

6. Dilution is the name of the game in all penny stocks. If Ifenprodil is successful and the market reacts strongly, we'll still be laughing all the way to the bank.

7. I can agree a lot of the news releases are fairly fluffy, however would you prefer sitting around not having any idea what's going on? Do you ever read the msg boards or companies that play it that way? It's an absolute sh*show of speculation about what the hell is even going on. I'll take some fluff with my beef any day of the week over radio silence.

3. they have changed the number of patients in the data readout to find signal, and delayed the final results ... if the trial was completed before this fire, than why is the readout being delayed? Proof of the fire?

My apologies. Not everyone here has the luxury of unlimited free time for chitterchatting on Ihub. Fun fact, I was at the dentist this morning, did you know they're also doctors?

1. Independently reviewed by... NOT Algernon Pharmaceuticals. The entire point is it's reviewed by an external body to avoid any conflict of interest and "cooking" the results.

2. Sure they're taking big fat paychecks. Do they deserve as much as they're getting? Who's to say. If this drug ends up being one of the top 3 therapeutics used for covid19 do they then deserve it? When do you suggest we decide if they deserve it or not. Maybe we should request they get zero salary until they find a successful drug candidate..... we'd have the leading team in the business under that model...

3. You must not be following any of the news releases nor doing any dd if you haven't come across the issues with the fire. The hospital was in lockdown for essential services only due to the fire which meant there was no way to get in and retrieve the data as that's not considered essential. I'm honestly not going to even spend the 30 seconds to find the direct link to the hospital fire and then match the name of the hospital in the article to the Romanian hospital that is listed as a trial site for Ifenprodil. Or hey, even the interview where Chris offers his condolences to the families who lost loved ones in the fire at their trial site. Side note - did you guys know that there's this new viral trend online in Texas where people are trying to melt snowballs with lighters and the snow just turns black and doesn't melt? I've heard the snow is some kind of government conspiracy related to climate change...........!!???????!??? I'm sure nobody here is from Texas though.

4. Multitasking. Also see point 2.

5. We're running a multi-national covid-19 therapeutic trial for a virus that's killing hundreds of thousands of people. Time is of the essence. "The norms" of science went out the window right next to the vaccines being distributed world-wide to humans with what, 4 months of human trials... jesus christ. If you have more data include it. Why hold it back? Just doesn't make sense to me.

6. Dilute dilute dilute, the name of the penny stock game. They will dilute until they hit the jackpot on one of the drugs in their pipeline because as we all know, trials actually costs somes moneys. Will it be this one? I sure hope so, but nobody really knows. Except that doctor in Miami or wherever it was, apparently he knows.

7. Ps. Prelim data only had some endpoints included and almost none related to the longer term efficacy of Ifenprodil.
