These same individuals are not without their cell phones, internet, car and will use the stimulus money they get to buy a big screen or go on an Amazon shopping binge, but pay their bills....not so much.

They are pushing 50k school loan forgiveness, just wait and see if that happens. Later on you'll have a whole new generation walking away from their mortgages and other debts. There's reason why we havebankruptcy laws.

is this permanent ? or is there an expectation of payback

and - if there is a natural disaster - and through NO fault of your own your income stops on a dime ---- is there a role for GOV help ?

(Whereas $1,400 checks to those whose income fell zero -- popular with 85% of the US adult population - make ZERO sense to me in a COVID relief bill)
