they can't. no one mod can prevent any other mod from putting anything in the ibox.

The way the iBox works is that likely, the longer you've been a Mod on the board, the more seniority you have over placement of information in the iBox. So in theory, the information at the top of the iBox would come from the Mod that had been in the position the longest. One could argue that someone with the most history of the company would have pretty comprehensive knowledge of the company. (I'm not saying that's the case here - just the theory behind the process).

To someone else's point, iHub isn't here to determine what information is valid and what isn't. We don't know. We leave that responsibility for reader's to decide for themselves.
