float is the amount shares that are tradeable - take shares outstanding available minus the shares that are restricted so not tradeable and you get the float -- but also remember there are people who accumulate which also you have to consider when and minus from the available shares out there -- look at otcmarkets.com - under the security details tab - market cap is 28 mill a/s authorized shares but not necessarily avail is 75 mil - outstanding shares is 56.5 mil those that are available but have to minus restricted which is 41.5 mil unrestricted is 15 mil -- float they are saying 29.7 not sure why the difference but it is a low float for sure not lots of shares to trade
