I read news reports about the Russians and the Chinese giving (selling?) their vaccines away to developing countries. I would hope that Biden's gov would order vast amounts (billions) of the various effective vaccines and start spreading them out across the world, good politics and good public health . We can never be safe in the US no matter what the state of our vaccination planning is if new variants of covid are popping up around the world.
