Anyone know/heard of ANYONE who's ever shorted SUB-penny stocks?

Yes, Tim Sykes, Michael Goode, and some others. It isn't all that popular a strategy, because it's hard to get borrows and the associated costs are high. The possible risk is even higher, since any penny stock, however slimy, can run big at any time.

SUB-penny?

Nooo. Not subpenny. They usually choose bad stocks that are over a dollar. Or are at least 75 cents or so. And even in cases like those, it can be problematic.

But believe what you want. I prefer to believe the above because when the pps declines I don't blame "short sellers" for it.

WOW, Great post. Thank you on behalf of all the shareholders of this dark/quiet stock/Co. Just to let you know about me. I have worked as an engineer on a project interfacing with VIASAT equipment on board aircrafts. So I have more hands on experience then all the people on this board combined. I see a big future for this technology, and I believe once all the bugs are worked out of the airborne network system it would be a great value to many big Network Companies. Its a bit ahead of its time right now. But all great technologies start ahead of their time. I also worked in a startup that was building technology that was ahead of its time. We had to fold because we could not sell it 10 years ago. But now it would be in huge demand by the big network providers. That's all I am going to say about myself. So don't ask me any detail questions. Because I choose to remain anonymous and just say, there are many reasons to buy this stocks here. If the Co and its patents are viable for a big buyer to come in and buy them out or even partner with them. Time will tell what happens here. I hope the news for everyone who invested here is a great one.
