For certain procedures a liver retractor may be required. This is not true for all procedures. Still plenty of operations can be done with two arms in a single port. Add a second port for a retractor, and you still have half the amount of incisions from traditional laparoscopic procedures. I'll take two trocar sites over the traditional four any day of the week.

It's okay. I guess two is better than 5 with the world renowned DaVinci. Still better than a laparoscopic cholecystectomy with four incisions.
