You should be really happy if a high percentage of float is short. Although the stock hasn’t traded for more than a few days post split, with 3-4 days of reorganization just completed, I’m interested to know what percentage of the float you believe is already short? 10% would be huge, 20% would be impossible in this short time.
Short sellers do the most due diligence because the potential loss has no limit. Longs can only lose down to $0 bid.
If short sellers get it wrong it can be very expensive. The way Bozo runs his business and the company generally it wouldn’t be a surprise to see short sellers lining up round the block to borrow / locate shares to short. Some see that as highly bullish, the more short sellers get it wrong the higher a potential squeeze of a tiny float becomes.
It’s all about executive execution and bozos success or failure. Get it right, it makes money, get it wrong (again) and longs will run ( not walk ) away, probably forever this time.
Don’t worry so much about short sellers. Worry about executive execution, integrity, professionalism and successes. Get them right and short sellers become the bid - always.
