Lol, almost same story around xmas 2013. It was at 3000 and most of us said “ no thank you.” One coworker (not wall street) invested 1k. Not a bad return.
I had 1.2m Doge 2 years ago and rolled them into Bitcoin as they seemed worthless. Bitcoin did well but jumped back into Doge as it was moving up and will hold until I know one way or other. Everything I have read in the past 2 days tells me they will become much more valuable from here. Like you I’m not making the same mistake twice. Holding long.
