The posts you are making are nonsensical. The fact that there is a 7-eleven doesn't make Lincoln road any less desirable. You've obviously never been to Miami - or lived there - or done business there.
I've opened LLC's in Delaware for tax reasons. Delaware does not share the identities of LLC's. I believe the same is true for LP's. I'm going to guess that this entity was created in as part of a trust fund, as a vehicle to pass future wealth to subsequent generations.
I read it that way too, but Delaware just told me otherwise:
Note the Entity Type: Series. The Certificate of Registered Series of a Limited Partnership application requires the identification of the "Parent Limited Partnership", strongly suggesting that the Series entity type indicates that KBS is part of a group of LPs.
I don't want to bother Delaware again, but I'll bet Kips Bay Select LP's parent is listed here: 4527206 KIPS BAY 27 PARKING LLC 5303882 KIPS BAY APARTMENTS, LLC 7411302 KIPS BAY ASSET MANAGEMENT LLC 6107837 KIPS BAY CAPITAL COMPANY #1, LLC 6109551 KIPS BAY CAPITAL COMPANY #2, LLC 6109555 KIPS BAY CAPITAL COMPANY #3, LLC 6180384 KIPS BAY CAPITAL COMPANY #4, LLC 6215097 KIPS BAY CAPITAL COMPANY #5, LLC 2060575 KIPS BAY CINEMAS, INC. 3484136 KIPS BAY ENTERTAINMENT LLC 4209276 KIPS BAY GP, LLC 7411255 KIPS BAY GROUP LLC 4384002 KIP'S BAY INVESTMENTS, LLC 4343877 KIPS BAY MEDICAL, INC. 4187977 KIPS BAY PARTNERS, LLC 5295001 KIPS BAY PROPERTY CORP. 2342179 KIPS BAY RESOURCES, INC. 7418799 KIPS BAY SELECT LP
Still don't have a solid connection between Leviston and Kips Bay other than the identical deal structures and pricing and the fact that they use the same law firm. And the 13Gs signed by a guy named John Miller/J Miller, of course.
