Oh that's cool! Yes the Tigers have had a few really good years and teams starting with as far as I can remember with the Al Kaline, Mickey Stanley, Jim Northrup, Willie Horton, Stormin' Norman Cash, Dick McAuliffe, Bill Freehan Micky Lolich, Denny McLain, John Hiller, etc team when they won the World Series in 1968 coming back from being down 3-1 against the Cardinals! That was my favorite team ever. And of course the team of the 80s with Sparky Anderson winning in 1984! :-)
And the Red Wings in the Stevie Yzerman era throughout the 90s with the Russian 5... Those were some great teams! And I actually got to see Gordie Howe playing with Alex Delvecchio at the end of their careers at the old Olympia Stadium for a game back in the late 60s when I was a kid but never got to see them win a Cup because I wasn't born yet. :-)
