Haha! Yeah they just can never seem to put all the right pieces together all at the same time to have a really great year or years together. When they had Matthew Stafford and Megatron Calvin Johnson firing on all cylinders together, they were beyond great together. Trouble is they didn't have a good running game to compliment their passing game to make them a completely balanced offensive force and they were giving up a lot of points too with weak defensive teams so even though they were scoring a lot of points it made it difficult for them to succeed in the playoffs.
If they could have had Stafford, Johnson and Barry Sanders all on the same team together along with a good defensive team, they could have been a real force to be reckoned with! Go MTVX! Haha! :-)
