You shun the broader markets, fearing a 20% or 30% stock market correction, but your high risk multi-bagger type stocks (especially biotechs) can routinely drop that much in a day. So the risk avoidance explanation doesn't hold water. With large concentrated positions in a few moonshot stocks, your risk level is off the charts. If you would use sensible position limits on those high risk stocks, that's different, but it sounds like your approach is more on the bet the farm side of the spectrum.

Well, everyone has their own approach, but I sense your real motivation involves the 'watching paint dry' aspect. In addition to greed (which we all have) and impatience, you are looking for action, excitement, the big score. True? That is a gamblers mentality, and is extremely dangerous (been there done that). As Buffett said - "The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient".
