Jerry thanks for the PNM's. I don't have that acct. I no longer use margin. Back in the 90's I used one. The army were going to announce the contractor of armor vehicals for the war. I over laoded on Force Protection. all studies showed their vehicals were better that Oshkosh. Turns out the Genreals had stock in Oshkos When the news hit Force Protect collapsed. It was a time I was buying and selling gold on the exchange. I did my own candlestick charts. Gave the broker my peramiters each AM. Things could get pretty wild especially in the grins and potatoes. One day gold poped and droped and poped and droped. I was in small contratcs but made $7500 that day. I noticed guys getting stuck in some grain trades. moving margian limits and trapping them for days. I cannedl my trading on the baord and my margin accoaunt. You get on the wrong side of a trade and you are libal for all losses.
I haven't had any commission chages from schwab except a few pennies on options. My IRAs don't do options I do like to sell coveeerd calls.

Takes forever to do these. My DR said coffee aggravates it alcohol alleviates it. At the time I was drinking 5-6 cups a day. He said better make it Irish coffee. Jerry thanks for those other PM's I checked my Schwab corp acct. 0 commission on AUMN, BTLL, ATAO .01 per 100 on ISUNW 3.20 on DIA puts none on any share of other tradesjust on warrnats and puts and calls. Several yearas ago I also had a TD acct. use to always want several accounts for trading. I found TD took me to long to do orders. In the 90's had Edwards and RBC. The Edwards guy got me into that Force Protection which was not a small loss like you showed it wasn't even just 10xs I hed it in corporate and roths. I had several years of tax free trading with loss carried forward. I made a complete switch to Schwab they had lower commissisons now 0 on aalmost everything. I find their platform faster. I am in my early 80's so about 6 older. Your in some beautiful country. Your winter weather is much better than mine. Snowing again but up to 9.Take care.
