#18635 RE: ombowstring #18634

Ombow, I thought you may have gone 'all in' on CYDY with everything, but if it's just a regular size position then I have no problem with that. Face it, biotech is mainly a magnet for get rich quick losers, and I-Hub is full of them. Having been around bio for decades (actually back to the late 1980s, yikes), I've experienced first hand the 'bet it all' mentality. I lived it. So just trying to spare you what I went through.

What I put into IPIX is actually just part of a bigger portfolio that I inherited from my dad. These days I'm extremely careful to follow conservative allocation practices, having already made the most common and disastrous mistakes years ago. For example - betting everything on one stock, short term trading, pincher plays, microcap bio stocks, Chinese small caps, options (only tried once). You lose, lose, lose, and are finally forced to find something that works, and 'sensible-conservative' works. It takes longer, is somewhat boring, but it works.
