As a shareholder and owner of this company, I'm pretty sure it is every bit of my business what they are working on. The information I got is public, and very easily available and took the same effort as this reply to you. If a simple phone call inquiry is going to screw up a deal as you put it, it wouldn't have been much of a deal in the first place. I hope I didn't meddle too much in any corporate deals this morning when I scanned the business section of the newspaper.
