blindman, he didn't buy GME, but he did buy AMC, NAKD, NOK, CTRM, and SNDL. He's out of NOK, but losing big this morning on AMC and NAKD.
However, he did listen to me on a couple of my picks, and is currently up on BCRX and MBXBF. He also has a couple gold/silver stocks, currently breakeven. Overall his portfolio is up, but hopefully he sees the better quality stocks have been the better investment, and learning about selling and taking a profit. The best thing is the past week is the most he has talked to me in a long time. Most of the time I get a shoulder shrug.
To answer your question, not sure if he has learned his lesson yet, but he is learning something I'm sure.
