About 4yrs. I have never shorted. Let’s say a share is shorted at 5 dollars the stock goes to ten and then the short person pays 5 dollars to make up the difference. The stock goes to 15 can it be sold and take the 5 dollar profit. Just wondering if the hedge funds can do that
