The optics would not look good on Biden and the FDA if B blows the doors off and saves those in serious condition to then require a large phase 3 that could take many months while those in critical condition die... Like others have pointed out, B's been in several phase 2 trials and has completed them all with little to no serious side effects... 120 patients granted is small but saving just one-life and possibly thousands is worth emergency use considering The Right to Try was passed by 40 some States... Wouldn't someone who's on a ventilator be considered a Right to Try candidate? Even if B's only used for a few it could save lives.
