The economics of that are absolutely terrible for pretty obvious reasons. You can look at Parler if you need any proof of that. People being unhappy with Facebook doesn’t mean this is a good idea. I also don’t think you really understand how Facebook makes money by “selling your data”.

No one gives af about their data being stolen... especially not teenagers, who by the way, dominate and popularize social media.
