Ameritrade would not let me or a group of co-investors sell cvm covered calls this last week - they put cvm on a restricted list. Spoke with my account specialist and all he could do is quote what his boss said and that it is restricted with no reason why. Can place options trades but has to be verbal trade and it (on friday) was an estimated 2 hour wait to get to a trading broker. Pretty disgusting ameritrade.
I placed my orders at schwab and it went through no problem. Unfortunately schwab and ameritrade are merging so may have to look for a new one.
